It’s not often we get asked for music to put people to sleep. But San Francisco-based Tea Collection, which offers high-end infant and toddler apparel, needed a variety of rare, multicultural lullabies for a branded compilation CD that would pacify the fussiest youngsters.
We started with a sonic identity profile to determine what types of lullaby would also embody the brand’s conscientious and magnanimous spirit. Hundreds of lullabies were reviewed until we found the perfect ten (two of which were from the Rumblefish catalog!), and we cleared the licenses.
Tea Collection’s high design standards also required that their CD graphics and packaging have a tastefully distinctive look. Our production team provided multiple design options, including special clasping envelopes in lieu of the usual shrink-wrap, for a unique look. The result was a sleep-inducing, culturally enlightening, beautifully packaged branded product that parents loved.
